Educational and cultural purpose

DZ Odyssey is an independent digital cultural project offered for education and cultural transmission. It is not an official record, an academic publication of record, or a source of legal, political or professional advice.

Copyright and permitted personal use

• You may read, share links, quote short passages with attribution to DZ Odyssey, and use the museum for personal study or classroom teaching.
• You may not republish exhibits wholesale, resell the content, or present it as your own work.
• Requests for broader reuse, including publication or exhibition, are welcome and reviewed case by case.

Images and media rights

Some imagery is archival material credited to its collection, and some is illustrative or reconstructed visual work created for the museum. Illustrative imagery is labelled as such and must not be presented as a historical photograph. If you hold rights to an item shown here and believe it is credited incorrectly, tell us and it will be reviewed, corrected or removed.

Accuracy and corrections

Exhibits are researched carefully and cite their sources, but history is revised as new work appears and errors remain possible. The museum is offered as it is, without a warranty that every detail is complete or final. Corrections are welcome and are handled as described in the Sources and Editorial Method page.

AI generated answers in Ask the Curator

Ask the Curator produces answers with an AI model that is instructed to speak only from the museum's own exhibits. Answers are generated automatically and are not reviewed before you read them, so they may be incomplete or mistaken. Treat them as a guide to the exhibits rather than as a citable authority, and confirm anything important against the exhibit page and its sources.

Prohibited misuse

• Do not alter, decontextualize or falsify exhibit content, including translations and captions.
• Do not use the museum to promote hatred, incitement or discrimination against any community.
• Do not scrape at a scale that degrades the service, attempt to reach private editorial areas, or interfere with the site's operation.

Changes to the service

The museum evolves. Exhibits, halls and features may be added, revised or withdrawn, and these terms may be updated. Continuing to visit after a change means you accept the updated terms.
